Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

keyperson.quest is an information site about key person (keyman) insurance and related business protection in the UK. It is in beta. There are no accounts or sign-ups, and we do not sell insurance, arrange quotes or pass your details to insurers or brokers.

2. What we collect

• A functional cookie. The site sets one cookie, kpv: a random identifier that lasts 30 days. It is not used for advertising or to track you across other sites. It exists so that the assistant we are building can keep your own conversation with it together.
• Your cookie choice. When you dismiss the cookie notice, your browser stores that choice (in local storage) so the notice does not come back.
• Visit statistics (Google Analytics). We count visits with Google Analytics, for our own statistics only. It sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies. Google signals and advertising features are off. We rely on the statistical-purposes exemption in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. Choose Essential only on the cookie notice, or Cookie settings in the footer, to switch it off; nothing is then sent.
• Visitor identification (Snitcher). We use Snitcher to identify the organisation behind a visit from its IP address, so we know which companies read the site, not which people. Snitcher acts as our processor. It sets cookies only if you choose Accept on the cookie notice.
• Emails you send us. If you email hello@fractional.quest, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard request logs, such as IP address and pages requested, to run and secure the service.

We run no advertising scripts.

3. Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@fractional.quest. You can delete the cookie at any time in your browser settings. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

4. Changes

If we add sign-ups or anything else optional, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
